FunkyTown Food Project Volunteer Days

Volunteer opportunities generally take place on Saturdays from 9:30am-12:30pm during the spring and fall.

Our Academic Year Interns lead the volunteer projects while our staff takes on a supporting role. This provides a meaningful and impactful opportunity for our young leaders to put their leadership skills to the test in a real-world environment. The interns meet with Farmer Greg early in the morning to take instruction on the day’s tasks and prepare for your arrival at the farm. If you want to specifically work with our interns, email StacyM@FunkyTownFoodProject.org with the Saturday(s) you’re looking to volunteer and the number of people you’re bringing with you.

We love working with individuals, families, and groups large and small. Please note that the farm isn’t especially suitable for children under 8. Children under 14 must be accompanied (at all times) by an adult. Youth 14-18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver prior to arrival. All of this will be discussed after your initial email.
