FunkyTown Food Project thrives on the support of our community. Investing in a team-building package is an engaging, hands-on way to connect your brand and employees to FunkyTown Food Project and to demonstrate that your company supports food justice.
When your team volunteers, the work you help carry provides leadership opportunities for our youth interns, helps us cultivate healthy food to share with our partnering hunger relief organizations, AND cultivates community engagement for your group. The impact is truly immeasurable!
How it works
FunkyTown Food Project will work with your group to design one-time or ongoing volunteer projects. We can accommodate groups of 6-50 volunteers and may be able accommodate larger groups depending on the time of year. Volunteer events can be scheduled for a half-day (9am-12pm or 1pm-5pm) or or a full day . They can take place on weekdays or on Saturdays.
What’s included:
Introductory farm tour and icebreakers
Guided service activities, which may include seasonal projects like weeding, pruning, harvesting, packaging, helping maintain our wildlife habitat areas and green landscaping features, etc.
Opportunities for public recognition via social media and FunkyTown Food Project publications
Your team is welcome to reserve indoor or outdoor space to share a meal or conduct a meeting before or after your event.

FunkyTown Food Project logo t-shirt - $20/pp
Breakfast or Lunch catered by one of our culinary partners - $25/pp.
Additional team-building activities
Educational break-outs on topics related food insecurity and food justice, regenerative agriculture, or leadership development
Photos and professional 60-second video of your group’s day on the farm - $1,500

what it costs
Group volunteer packages require a sliding scale contribution ($500 minimum) to cover costs and support our mission. We trust that you will pay at the highest rate you are able to. Suggested ranges are as follows:
Small local company or nonprofit (0-10 employees)
$500-$1,500+Medium-sized company, high school, or nonprofit (11-20 employees)
$1,000-$2,500+Large company, high school, or nonprofit ( 20+ employees)
$2,500-$5,000+Mission-aligned partner/non-profit organization
