FOOD

Roughly 1 in 4 children in Fort Worth face food insecurity. That’s why we focus on producing fresh, high-quality food while expanding opportunities for communities to engage with and benefit from locally grown produce. Our interns learn about agriculture and good nutrition while addressing food equity with the food they help grow.

Youth, staff, and volunteers from FunkyTown Food Project grow fresh, organic food and work with community partners to support a wide range of food access initiatives across Fort Worth. Our home farm, Conundrum Farms, hosts its own weekly farmers market on Sundays from March through December. You can also find Conundrum at Clearfork Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, and monthly at the Saginaw Farmers Market.

FunkyTown Food Project, in collaboration with Conundrum Farms, also partners with Texas Health Resources to help stock community pantries in schools and agencies across the city, making local produce more accessible.
