at the charles Schwab Challenge

FunkyTown Food Project is excited to host a concession stand at the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Join us at Colonial Country Club to sell beverages and welcome spectators as they pass our concession on their way in and out of the event.

THE DEETS

When

  • Wednesday, May 27th through Sunday, May 31st.

  • Five-hour shifts are available between 7:30 am and close of play (usually around 5:00pm).

  • The rest of the day, you are welcome to take in the tournament! (free ticket for the day of your shift!)

Where

  • Our concession is just inside Gate 3, mere steps from where the shuttles drop off visitors.

  • Parking is at Dickies Arena. Volunteers will receive a shuttle pass and a ticket to enter the tournament.

What

  • We’ll sell beverages and snacks (no cooking or grilling required) and greet thirsty spectators as they arrive at and leave the course.

  • You’ll help represent our brand by wearing a FunkyTown Food Project t-shirt, which will be yours to keep.

Why

  • As a volunteer host, FunkyTown will receive 9% of sales and 100% of tips!

  • This particular concession generally raises about $8,000 for its nonprofit.

  • An added benefit: it helps us spread the word among Fort Worthians about the great work we’re doing at the intersection of youth, food, and community.

  • And - it’s GREAT FUN!

How

  • VOLUNTEERS: Stacy, Juleon, or Kent will be on site for each shift to lead the way. All you have to do is sign up here and show up on shift day.
